I'm so sorry to learn of lovely Faith's need for hospitalization. I'm praying hard that the Lord heals her, that her physicians know the best and most up-to-date techniques to help her, and that her lovely faith-filled spirit never wavers in believing that all will be well.

A special prayer for Texas Cowboy, who has done so much to hold us all together through heartaches and triumphs on this thread. Cowboy, you know the Good Lord loves you and helps you stay strong for Faith and all others who depend on you. Please know that I'm praying hard for you and your daughter, as are so many others on this thread.

That made my eyes wet.

I've got to tell you a story. Please bear with me. It's kind of long:

Faith was in the hospital for three days having her blood cleansed through tubes in her jugular vein.
Each morning she was awakened about four by a voice coming from down the hall saying, "HELLLLLOOOOOOOOOO!"
On the third morning she rolled out of her room and down the hall searching for that voice.
She found a girl of about twelve a few doors down, hiding under the sheet with just her face showing.
Her face was paralyzed with cerebral palsey, but she could move her mouth enough to call, "hello", because she was so desperately lonely.
The little girl told Faith she thought she was an angel who had come to visit, but she knew she was sad because she could see the tears in her eyes.
Faith told her she knew she was the angel because her eyes were smiling.
She stayed with the little girl until they came to get her to take her to a nursing home.
Her eyes were still smiling as they rolled her away.
