disengenuous
Did you or did you not support the government's authority to quarantine SARS infected persons last year?

The Supreme Court said that Texas had no authority to make such a law. I disagree. It's no different than setting speed limits.

Incredible
Surely you jest. You're comparing the potentially deadly spread of an air born virus to sexual relations between consenting adults in the privacy of their home.
You want frankness. Okay. Let's be frank. Would you allow a video monitor in your home or perhaps live observers in your home to observe your sexual behavior?
Yes or no.

Straw man.
As I've said the issue is (1) lethality and (2) communicability.
If you have a new, 100% deadly form of hepatitis, that is communicable only via anal sex, then I have no problem quarantining JUST you. Nor do I have any difficulty seeing that I need to control anal sex.
I don't need to monitor your bedroom. I just need to know that you are infected. Once I know that, then I know the method of communication is sex.

" It therefore belongs to them to ascertain its meaning, as well as the meaning of any particular act proceeding from the legislative body."
Hamilton said it well; but when half of the liberal judges in America don't believe him, when the obvious meanings of our Constitution are easily interpreted; it is time to not allow any liberal judge to be put on the bench as their judgment is dubious at best and deceptive and destructive at worst.
We must vote against them and if and when necessary, show them the true meaning of the treason. Unfortunately, the republican party is becoming less and less conservative by the day.
Again I ask, is there a conservative party left in the U.S. that will represent the large majority of Americans or is all we are left with is the gentleman's "slap fight" conservative politicians.
