I care that the system is failing, of course: I care enough to make my own arrangements and to help my like-minded fellow citizens do the same.
The only political means of resistance is to push for the defunding of public schools. There is no way to legislate teachers into being loyal Americans with good, moral values. One must instead take their ill-gotten money away from them and give it back to citizens so they can reallocate those funds to decent people.
