I don't know about our party. I prefer to register Independent. But have registered Republican for decades as it was one small way to lend support statistically to a side that had SOME hope of giving the democruds some real, practical, functional competition.

I hated the whole Perot fiasco. Don't want ANY repeat of that.

I suspect far too many Republicans are in the employ or under the life/death threat of the puppet masters toward global tyranny, too. But there's just not a lot of options at this point in our rush to self-destruction.

I suspect Arnold will end up helping the party quite a lot. If he can energize some away from politics as usual and if he can motivate some to be more active toward conservatism in any respects--even just more active as Republicans period--and if he can cause people to even conceptualize AWAY FROM POLITICS AS USUAL--then he will have served a priceless service.

Far too many Republican politicians nationally and certainly in California are in bed with as many evil forces from personal greed to power mongering as much as the demoncruds are. I have scant respect for a long list of them. I shook Pete Wilson's hand once as he toured my PhD school in San Diego. He struck me as a shorty, arrogant banty rooster stuck on himself and playing the power game for all it was worth.

Not exactly that far from a democrud in values.

You're right in every way. It's our party because it's the lesser of two evils.
