Rastus, please, please don't call Bush a liberal. The man has made more than a dozen decisions which have delighted ardent conservatives like me. If you do not remember these, let me jog your memory:

Appt. of John Ashcroft as AG over a vitriolic battle with Senate Dems, rejection of : Kyoto, ICC, Clinton OSHA rules, abortion funding for Mexico, ABM treaty, and various environmental laws signed via executive order by BJ Clinton.

Further: 3 tax cuts (2 income and 1 Dividend), Elimination of estate taxes, increase in military spending, privatization of 800,000 Federal Govt. positions, set to sign PBA ban, nomination of 100% conservative judges so far for District Courts (none of whom have been confirmed, BTW) and a superb execution of the WOT.

These are conservative positions, bud.

He may have disappointed you wrt spending on education and prescription drugs, but remember, this was in his election platform. You knew he was going to do this because he promised to. So don't be surprised.

With Bush, conservatives will get about 75% of their wishes. With Arnold, its more like 2%.

I don't think Bush is a liberal and I understand the political expediencey of most of his leftist positions and policies.I don't think Arnold is a liberal either and I suspect he is well to the "right" of the President on some issues such as affirmative action for example.

Appt. of John Ashcroft as AG over a vitriolic battle with Senate Dems,

Would that be the same conservitive john asscroft that pulled 128 federal agents off The terrorism task force to go after tommy chong for selling glass tubes that have been a 1st amendment protected art form since th e country was founded ?

is this the same conservitive that is so sexually represssed that he had to spend $65,000 dollars of taxpayer money to cover up a stone statue becasue he couldnt handle looking at concrete breasts?

Is it the same john asscroft that in writing says the second amendment applys to individuals then in the next breathe fully supports and enforces project exile ?

with conservitive friends like this who needs enemas
