The funny thing is, the Europeans don't have the same feel for high and low temperature marks like we do in the US because they use the stupid metric system.

Here, we know that when the temperature hits 100, it is really hot! And in the winter, when the temperature drops to zero, we know it is really cold. Wow, a HUNDRED DEGREES! Down to ZERO!! The numbers mean something.

I don't know what those numbers translate into in metric (and I don't care, thank you) but I bet it's boring. Long live Fahrenheit. Screw the socialists and their metric system.

Well it looks like I have switched summers with the limeys.

Here in the northeast US, it has been a mild and wet summer.

JMO, the limeys should enjoy their hot summer, since it usually only happens every 30 years or so.
