I tried to use the abortion - breast cancer link to advance the pro-life position with someone at a party, and that person countered with "what about China, where they have widespread abortion and even forced abortion... why doesn't China have the highest breast cancer rates in the world?"

I was not able to answer that.

They have a very different diet there, later onset of fertility on average, and lower life expectancy in general, so it's apples and oranges.

I think life expectancy in China for women is around age 54 or so. In that case, many aren't living long enough to get cancer anyway.
