California has performed about the same as the rest of the country in job losses over the last 2½ years

If CA had half the job losss last month and was performing at the same rate as the rest of the country, then CA would have half the population of the country. Does not compute!

Population of the US 281 million

Population of CA 34 million

Statistics are like swimsuits, what they show is interesting but what they don't show is vital.
