For her to put it all out on the table like that, is commendable. I catch her show occasionally, and don't find much wrong with her "tough love". The main thing I heard her say once that I disagreed with, she smirked at the idea of the "age of accountability" concerning baptism, that many Christians profess. I disagreed with her, because I don't think you are "saved" because someone poured water on your head when you are a few months old, when you're not even aware of what's going on. I personally believe in an age of accountability, and don't think it arrives at age x for every individual. I know some will disagree with this, and for those who do, I'm not going to descend into a flame war with you. So, nyah. :)

I'm with you 100% on the baptism, age of accountability and the flame wars. While I don't like to listen to Dr. Laura every time I hear her on the radio, I think she's doing a great job in helping others.

In the Catholic church, a person goes through Confirmation when they are older and able to comprehend the faith. Baptism is the first step.
