I don't know what this guy discussed, was asked, or told. I just know that he was responsible for getting the dialogues going with officials in Iran. He has/had a lot of money, and for the right price would talk and give information. Whether he had anything substantial in this meeting to say, I have no clue.
Please take off the tinfoil and explain to me where the scandal is with this article?
Please explain why we should have ignored the request by a shady character who wanted to give us information, reliable or not?

If so you would know that 99% of them are nothing but scum of the earth who 50% of the time are yanking your chain. That doesn't mean you refuse to hear what he has to say, it means you should treat what he says in the same manner you treat every low life snitch...... Listen, investigate and verify if you can. Intel gathering is a dirty game and the people you deal with are untrustworthy to start off with, but that doesn't mean you can't gain some valuable info from them.
