Umm- actually- I now quit a bit about the German occupation. There was even a teenage mini rebillion called the "wolfverines" that was a remmant of the Hitler youth group that did indeed cause some casulaties among troops after official war was over but nothing like we see today in Iraq.
Look further into this; there were MORE American deaths/attempts, in Germany, in the same amount of time, as in Iraq.
Soooooooooooo ... we shouldn't have nbeen in WW II, and/or did what we did there, then ? If that is NOT your answer, then you're still in the deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep hole re Iraq. If this IS your answer, then you've managed to dig that hole exceedingly deeper.
