bTW, I discovered this article because of a music industry email list I am on. The SXSW festival (which is based in Austin a designed to give new artists exposure) runs the list and culls articles about music and musicians.

The article headline on the email list focused on the Bush bashing. Bush bashing goes well with the staff that runs that list too.

All I have to say is, long live Husker Du. Their music is outstanding. Bob, God love ya, you're a bad person, but a consummate songwriter. "...and I'm never talkin' to you again, I'm tired of talkin' to you".

A 1980s band. Long since gone from any relevancy but "important" to Rolling Stone magazine.

husker du is Swedish or "Do you Remember?" It was a board game in the 60's also.

husker du was a power trio from MIN, that released some of the best loud Rock and roll of the time. Before a show in NYC their manager jumped of a bridge and they broke up soon after. Mould lives in NYC and is a Moody Dic*. I have met him a number of times and he NEVER smiles or says a word. A misrable human. He has ear damage so bad that he has a high ringing sound in his head 24hrs. (He has said this in many interviews.) Yet his guitar sond and vocal style is signature.
