Soon SCO will be indentified with 'stuff we don't want to get near.' I'm sure that bodes well for the long term viability of the company.

Did I just hear M$ and Sun go "SH!T!!!!"? I found this latest episode to be particularly sleazy. Since M$ was starting to get smacked around a little by Linux, they "buy some licensing" from SCO, nudge, nudge, wink wink, and viola!, SCO threatens to sue everyone who runs Linux. Gosh! The only way to be safe is to buy M$ products!

I caught that too. I work and program for and on Microsoft products every day. I am not a Microsoft basher, nor am I a Linux basher - each tool has a function in my book. But this whole SCO thing does stink to high heaven of Microsoft manipulation.

You have to ask yourself, "who benefits"?
