Rush may be right and wrong at the same time. We in California have been waiting for another "Reagan" for too long. Arnold is not Reagan and can never be President. The most he can do in California is 10 years as Governor, due to term limits. While he is not as conservative as I might like, this is a liberal controlled state. Virtually every state office is controlled by Liberal dems. We have tried to elect a conservative like Simon, but he doesn't have the appeal to win. Do we just surrender to the Dems until we can get the "Reagan Republican" elected? Issa was a true conservative and was polling at 4%????? You don't turn an aircraft carrier on a dime. Lets get what we can.

>>>Arnold is not Reagan ....I don't disagree with what you've said. All Rush is doing is making political observations that are crystal clear to most people willing to open their eyes and face the truth.
California is a very liberal state and has shifted towards total Democrat domination over the last decade. Arnald appeals to some conservatives and some liberals, but his strength lies with the independents in the mushy middle.
Who knows, may be Arnald will win the recall election and have a political reincarnation while in office. Otherwise he will govern as a moderate to liberal Republican, at best.

I think you are pretty right on this issue. CA. is a liberal state and a true conservative is probably not going to win. Arnold may be the best we can hope for. The people in the state may think its time for a change and a non politcian like Arnold may be the guy to pull it off. I think we are going to know pretty guickly whether he is a viable candidate. It is a good sign that his wife is taking a leave from her post at NBC. She can deter some of these hits that are going to come his way. If nothing else, it is going to be very interesting.
