It is really, really sad that Californian Republicans are closing their eyes to the opportunity of being the party for change instead of harking back to the past (failed) candidates and minority conservatives. Arnold represents, to those of us outside California, the opportunity to begin an education process that we Republicans ARE different from the Dems, who want everybody to march lock-step with their every issue, to pander to every special interest that gives them money. Arnold has declared himself in a "special interest free" zone, and truthfully, is probably the one stance that most weary Californians can respect enough to vote for.
