how long after the new governor is in until another recall is allowed?

I don't know, but this recall was only possible because the voters were disgusted into not turning out for Simon/Davis in 2002. I bet that was the plan for Davis -- to run such a nasty, mean campaign that the voters would be turned off and not show up. However, the result of that was that the threshold for calling a recall was finally attainable. If the turnout for the recall is high enough, they won't be able to get enough signatures to qualify another recall.

What frightens Pelosi and the Dems most is that they never bet on 1.6 million -and counting- signatures to appear or that of those approcimately 1/3rd are Democrat signatures.

My sister had a petition pulled out of her hand by a co-worker who said "let me sign it, I'm a Democrat and I vote for the ...many expletives deleted....guy."
