But I just don't have any significant evidence that McClintoch makes a hyper-kinetic ADHD person's heart beat very fast.

Maybe he would be a wonderful man right down the center of our values. But if insufficient Californias are jazzed of the same opinion, he's a drag on someone who could smother the real democruds.
