Lemme see... Trivesta joined in August and you joined last month. Both of you seem to want to put all the blame on President Bush.

What's up with you guys? What part of CLINTON ADMINISTRATION don't you understand???

Why did Bush allow this woman to get this position?

Nobody is pure in America unless he was just born 10 minutes ago and the TV in the room happened to be turned off.

Some people just seem a tad too anxious to hammer Bush when so much of this was created by Clinton and there are so many hangers-on left over from his corrupt administration.

How do we know that the Bush admin. wasn't able to dump this broad due to union constraints?? Could be - perhaps - Bush and company COULDN'T dump her until they created a different position for her to fill, then "re-checked" her background??

You must be unionized. Read all the articles on this since 1998. This woman was a known fraud in 1998, 5 years ago. The idea that this is a timely action is absurd. A clinton operative rehired and paid as one of the top execs in HS while the WH, the FBI, the Just Dept, and hundreds of leaders in govt knew exactly what a criminal and fraud this woman was. The corruption is massive, across party lines.

Repubs are looking the other way while leftists destroy this country. Knowing all this, all you deduce is that union rules are the only problem here? There were years of serious allegations regarding this woman and law enforcement was coerced to cover up. This is a grave indictment of all govt.

If she was another official and it was politically favorable for her to be terminated, she would have been whacked in 10 minutes, with all union bases covered. I have defended Bush for years. I need to know he defends me too.

Aren't you thinking of the Declaration of Independence?

Why did Bush allow this woman to get this position?

Probably the same reason all of the criminals slipped into the gate screen positions at the airports, etc. In this rush to throw together the Department of Homeland Security, they probably had an opening and needed to fill it with a warm body, she was there, she had experience, and the people hiring her probably didn't check too closely.

Don't expect this will be the last of this type to pop up - It's hard to blame Bush for this - many many people hang on from administration to administration. There are people in there probably from when President Reagan was in office, if not before.
