Why are they in the Himalayas? There are thousands of confirmed sightings of one in South Florida.

Tell the Japanese to leave the Yeti alone. Things didn't turn out so well for them when they found Godzilla or Mothra. People killed, cities ruined. Now they are looking for another monster to exploit.

The abominable snowman (known as the Yeti to most outside the US) is basically the international version of BigFoot (sasquatch). Said to be huge, white-furred, and with a temperment that is at times benign (even helpful), and sometimes malevolent.

In the himalayas Tibetan monks sell what they claim to be Yeti fur-coats, teeth, bones etc etc etc. In the majority of cases those things turn out to be the teeth of snow-leopards, or the bones of ibexes ......but there are a couple of documented cases where the origin of some bones and skulls cannot be identified.
