I have worked with many Hispanics. Most all of them are not 'cry babies'.

I am a reading mentor in an inner city elementary school which has about 30% hispanic students. They are hard working kids and eager to learn. The parents are involved in school activities and the kids are very respectful of the teachers and mentors.

I agree exactly. Many of the bigots who I have been unfortunately enough to know have been more prejudiced against hispanics than against blacks, but this is very encouraging. Prejudice completely loses its power if it is ignored and disregarded. This is the power of a positive attitude! Very encouraging read!
