It's hard for me to imagine there ever having been a bloom on Hillary's rose.

For crying out loud, you are pretty much conceding defeat to Shrilllary, and she hasn't even entered the race! At least the French didn't surrender until the Germans actually invaded them.

Your take on what drives the stock market is pathetic. Under Jimmy Carter, the stock market stagnated for years. Once Ronbo got going, the market took off during his Presidency despite the best efforts of the media to slime him. The stock market has been increasing for months now while money market funds are earning next to nothing.

The press loved Bubba, but they couldn't stop the market from sliding in 2000 no matter how rosy a picture they painted.

You might want to think twice about not supporting Dubya over Shrillary. You really what that woman making Supreme Court appointments? I shudder to think what she would put on the Court. Dubya is far from perfect, but this nation can't afford another four or eight years of the Clintons in power.

I don't think she's going to run this time, anyway. If we all surrender to her before she even announces, though, then we might as well crown her Queen now and bow down to her.

... she would not be able to get on ballots between Late January and early March, by which time many of the states will have had their primaries.

Exactamundo my friend, and that's just the way she wants it.

Hilary doesn't want to face the electorate any more often than she has to. IMHO she will wait until the convention, which will be deadlocked, largely by her own manueverings, and when the rigged convention turns to her she's got it.

Then she only has to run a two month campaign, fawned upon by the adoring press and the Hollywood elite, she can avoid the bright light of hardball questions and finagle a way out of any debates, and her minions will steal enough votes to make her a winner.

I'm scared enough to think it could happen.

If someone hasn't come out and said something, everything up to that point is rampant speculation, wishful thinking or raw fiction.

I fully agree. That is why I was more confident with each passing day that he would run, specifically because it's real easy to say no. He could have done that any time. You don't need to go on Leno to say no. You go on Leno for millions of viewers and free campaign advertising.

Speaking of which, whoooo boy! Let the CFR folks try to deal with this one, given that Arnie can at any time have some "promo" for T3 and drop political comments!! Technically, he can still go anywhere to "plug" his movie!!

It's a double-burn. Hollyweird still needs him for scheduled promotions for T3 and other projects at which he can do his political thing. If they cancel his appearances to avoid his political statements, he can say, "I worked 33 long years in Hollywood and this is how they repay me?" It will go over great with the little guy voter. Lefist Hollywood is caught between a rock and hard place. Only Hollywood can make this choice whom to alienate and that affects their future bottom line. That's a decision more difficult than should Arnold run.

I love it.

Great analysis!

She is running out of time as elections go - and that is just fine with her. She will be drafted without a shot ever being fired as to "you can't ask hard questions of Hillary"...she simply WILL NOT be put on the spot. Every thing she says or does is scripted before hand. Talk about Teflon, she gives new meaning to the word. She is more of a chameleon than Algore and more coached than most movie stars. Hillary is in fact a made up person; she doesn’t really exist, she is intangible – what you see, ain’t what’s there in reality!
