Last week, the Rockefeller rule was on full display at a little-noticed hearing in Arlington County, Va. There, Sharon Percy Rockefeller vehemently objected to one of the left's trendiest pet government projects: publicly subsidized day labor centers for illegal aliens.

Repeatedly this assertion follows an outrage as in this article. What needs to be done? How about setting a trap with equivalent circumstances and when the left's feigned sympathy is above the fold, compare the dynamics of both instances and then yield to the PC remedy.
Why this isn't done with every instance is beyond me. The head ditto does it every day on the radio but it seems as though no appointed or elected official will. How come and why not? Keeping to polite opposition will not get the Republicans anything but the perception that they are girly boys. Speaking of which, the style and approach of Coulter should be adopted by the entire right of center thinkers and doers.
