Nice of you to assist the Pope in geography--I'm sure he was unaware of the location of the Rubicon until you pointed it out.

While the Church, IMHO, should help the Dirty Dozen to understand the implications of their Faith by excommunicating them, our opinions on the topic will have little to do with the outcome.

You did note that Daschle was rapped by his Bishop, but it was only due to a leak that the story went public. No reason to believe that other jerks like Daschle have NOT been reminded, but we have no leaks to prove it.

The Rubicon I speak of has little to do w/ geography and everything to do w/ spirituality. I have a great love for JP II he is a true and holy man. My prayer is that he still has the strength to address the awesome challenges that face not only Catholics but all Christians.
