You're determined to get this up, aren't you?
One has to wonder why.

Seems like Bush & Sharon have been drinking the same polluted water - it apparently causes the belief that doing incredibly stupid, self-destructive things will make our enemies love us. If we grab guns from law abiding citizens (or spring "minor" terrorists loose), we can then turn to our left and say, "See how nice we are?" I just hope they don't get their faces dirty.

Can't answer authoritatively for him, but I surmise that he thinks the truth will set us free; conversely hiding the truth will make us vassals.

It's in the White House archive; that's not exactly hidden now, is it?

"One has to wonder why."
Some people may have not seen the footage. It makes the Bush Admin position very clear. And there is some elaborating, not just poltitical soundbites. Is something the matter?

He makes it easier to access, to answer your question. Removing it--or knowing about it and failing to post it--is hiding it.

What's your proof that they have or are going to remove it?

The transcript has been posted at least 10 times.
And nothing is the matter; your agenda is on view for all to see.

C'mon Howlin. The "removing it" was in reference to the post asking the moderator not to remove it. Don't change the subject.

It's not required for this site to have mulitple links to the same news story.

Howlin, you are a nice lady. But may I ask a question or two? To preface the question, let me state that while I deplore many of Bush's actions, he has done some things extremely well--things I have given him credit privately and publicly on this board for.
Is there ANYTHING Bush can do that would warrant your criticism? I don't ask that with any "tone". I would just like to know. I am trying to understand yours--and others'--way of thinking.

I've read the transcripts too. Right here on FR. The video clip is a great peice of info to show folks who wouldn't normally sit down and read through a press conference transcript. You know, the lazy and ill-informed.

Total BS.
And I hope you're not insinuating that the good people of FR don't READ.

Never said that. The only reason you come to FR is to read. You are being silly.
Save target as and show your friends who do not read press transcripts. Again, it is only information. Lets not have a cow.

It's a well known fact, in the 2000 Prez campaign, candidate Bush supported the assault weapons ban. This is old news. Actually, this is no news.
To: Reagan Man
Yes. We all heard Bush say he would sign it. And on top of that, here is a piece of video elaborating on the Bush admin. position. This is posted for the benefit of those who have not seen it. And those who wish to archive it to show others. Now I really am going to bed. Goodnight.
