Are all Libertarians Godless pigs or just you?
To: ConsistentLibertarian
I was just noting that the Russian pop duo "TATU" effectively used the appearance of homosexuality to market themselves. I, of course, have no opinion on any of their other merits ;-)

What would Jesus do?
There's a safe way for gay men to have "intercourse", it was widespread among the ancient greeks (guys like Socrates and Plato and their drinking buddies), and it's pretty much on a par with guys getting off on a woman's breasts, which I have never heard God or the President suggest was a Bad Thing To Do.
Of course I could be wrong. Maybe God or the President have both spoken about the grave immorality of men getting off on a woman's breasts. So correct me if I'm wrong and pass me the link.
But given the facts, I think Jesus would want to tell people about safe sex. Maybe that's what the Bible was getting at ... it's no good if you don't do it right ... Maybe the Bible itself is warning gay men to "Go Greek" as it were.

You'd be amazed at what young Russian girls do to "market themselves" ;-)

Thanks for the pings. I thought I pinged everyone to this list once but it looks like I missed it. With so many homosexual threads lately it's difficult to keep up.
A simple freepmail is all it takes to subscribe or unsubscribe from my homosexual agenda ping list.

(Thousands have left the homosexual lifestyle.)

It's called frottage, dammit. Must you be so descriptive.
To: GSWarrior
Thanks, I'd never heard that word before.
So is frottage gravely immoral? On a moral scale from -10 to +10 is it tied with anal intercourse or does it score a bit higher?

Celibacy does not result in premature death to its practioners. Counter? Neither does homosexuality. AIDS causes premature death, but there are several activities that cause AIDS.

"Celibacy does not result in premature death to its practioners. Counter?"
If a guy takes a vow of celibacy, is he allowed to masturbate five times or more a week for decades?
If not, he's risking premature death from prostrate cancer.

I doubt that homosexuality has a purpose (though why it matters whether it does or not is unclear to me, since many human traits don't "have a purpose").
I suspect that when we finally come to understand this problem it will turn out to be a side effect of combinations of genes that each, in themselves, is beneficial, but when unfortunately combined results in homosexual orientation. The genes continue to be passed on because heterosexuals carry them as well, gaining whatever benefits accrue when they're not combined.

Does masturbation have no useful purpose? I'm really curious how y'all feel about masturbation.Masturbation, possibly, can help prevent prostate cancer.
Oh, and I'm not sure if I count as "y'all," at least not when a Yankee says it.
To: Ronly Bonly Jones
Certain cancers of the male reproductive system are very prevalent among Catholic priests and religious who do not masturbate. Just as breast cancers are statistically higher among nuns.Sure.
To: ConsistentLibertarian
So is frottage gravely immoral? Not if it's done correctly.
Seriously, I have enough problems running my own life without having to worry much about what others take part in, as long as no one is harmed and the acts are consensual.
To: ConsistentLibertarian
prostrate cancer was quite commion in countries which had a monarchy. It is caused by excessive bowing.

Word.

Really? I wonder if masturbating ten or fifteen or twenty times a week would have compensated for that risk factor.
