Kobe Bryant is no more guilty than ... um, um, um ... Scott Peterson

LOL! Or that idiot Democratic congressman whose staffer disappeared and is presumed murdered. I can't even remember the sap's name now (Condit?), but a lot of the same crew hoisting Kobe on their shoulders here were condemning that politico and accusing him of murder the first three minutes after the woman's disappearance was announced.

In the court of public opinion, guilt or innocence doesn't depend on the evidence. It depends on who you like. On a conservative website, a liberal Democrat congressman is doomed from the outset long before evidence is adduced. But a famous and fabulously popular sports star is excused and sainted by the same mob as the most innocent and pure being since Mother Teresa.

Depends on the venue. I haven't seen an overwhelming declaration of "Sainthood on Sir Kobe".....anymore than I've seen the same attributed to "Saint Alleged Victim" on these threads. The personalities of the posters override their common sense is what I've seen more of.....in abundance.

BTW.....is the use of the word 'mob' indicative of anything in particular?
