We get pulled into this slimey stuff because of the media; the media sucks -- and to justify their very existence, they sucker punch US with sensational headlines which turn out to be untrue, and then they lecture us on the morality of it all.

If we learn nothing else from this little dog and pony show, we should never forget that the media and their "stringers" are bottom feeders that can make any one of us look as guilty as sin -- and get paid for doing it.

My big "thang" is actually hoping to actually SEE a trial, any trial, where everybod obeys the rules........LOL.

Well Howlin I agree with you on your above statments...I hate to see someone tried in the media..it is just like a mob screaming for blood or sharks on a feeding frenzy....like the OJ or Westerfield Trial, Like the Scott Woodring fiasco, the facts need to be sorted out in a court of law so we don't end up with a real injustice based on biased attention getting media reports...

I also don't believe the authorities or either defense or prosecution should leak news to the media... As for keeping a victim's name withheld, if the law does that it should do the same IMO for the accused...what happened to equal rights ?
