I love those last two paragraphs! Nanny Nancy is showing her true colors....

LOL1 I'm saving this article. If my idiot congressman decides to throw a "Happy Birthday, Medicare" party, I'll make sure that the local paper knows who gave the orders!
To: Pikamax
For Democrats, they should also include "breathe in, breathe out" as part of the instructions. Never assume any level of thinking with most Democrats. It's a safety issue.

Perhaps you could tell your congresscritter that what Nancy's instructions left out is that he/she is supposed to pop out of the cake at the Medicare birthday bash. He/she just may fall for it!

For Democrats, they should also include "breathe in, breathe out" as part of the instructions. Not to mention the question of what goes where and why? That's a safety issue as well.

May I suggest baking a yellowcake?
To: Pikamax
My birthday is in a few weeks I think I will call up Cummings and have him bake me a cake.

Pelosi is developing a didactic style that can be too patronizing to be helpful. I'm putting on the flame suit for this one. There should be a law that no woman who has raised children should be allowed to hold any supervisory position which involves interacting with adults. Women who go into "mommy mode" when they are explaining things to adults are a curse in every office in the land. |

LOL! Ha, I can't believe Pelosi left out the most scathing democrat tactic to date. She blew a double whammy - but it would have been over too many heads.

Right out of the leftists book. They've been doing this stuff for decades. During the 1930'3 and 40's, the Left Book Club in England developed local clubs and provided detailed instructions on how to conduct meetings, street drama, discussions, provided speakers... This stuff is always orchestrated by the leadership... from the group who "believes in the people."

That's really not true. My experience as a mother has helped me immensely in adult relations, particularly in the business world. But then, I'm not a democrat. There's the difference.

The minute instructions have raised concerns among Democratic aides and lobbyists that Pelosi is developing a didactic style that can be too patronizing to be helpful.I think the whip has gone to Nancy's head.

I agree. It was amazing how intelligent - and conservative! - our office mgr. became once she had a child to raise..
