Emblem for the 2008 Olympics is unveiled at Beijing, People's Republic of China's Temple of Heaven in a ceremony choreographed by well known Chinese filmaker Zhang Yimou.

I don't think they are demons from Hell either. I don't think Hell has matching red outfits for everyone, but what do I know?
I do think BlueManGroup is really cool... They did a neat 9-11 tribute, photographs of little pieces of paper that floated into a neighborhood in Brooklyn. It is profound in it's simplicity. I kept a link on my profile page.

Interesting. That symbol appears to approximate a traditional script character - it probably evokes an oracle bone inscription. I wonder what it means in Chinese.
