People have to decide. Are you with us or against us. The mainstream media and the Democrat Party have decided to join forces opposing the United States. Its time to expose them to the American people.

Well, what an excellent article! Thank you for posting it!

I thought you might appreciate this article, which clearly delineates the faults of the previous administration and the double standard of the democrats and the media, and also pretty much echoes Ann Coulter's views on most of the democrats.

Bump for an excellent article.

Thank you for posting--I am printing the article and the horrifying pictures that follow it and will post in my office. We just cannot forget--we must be aware of the democrats intentions.

Thanks for posting these as much as you do. I get chill bumps, a lump in my stomach and my eyes well up with tears everytime I see them. More people should be reminded of what this is all about, what we are fighting, and fighting for. They should be shown every night on TV. Would that make people uncomfortable? Yes. Is that bad? No.

We must adopt the same steely resolve and willingness to place all our resources toward gaining victory that we did in World War II, and that includes not worrying about deficits. When things are very similar, it is often the differences that becomes more important. One of the differences in this war and WWII is that we are also fighting among ourselves over principle. We can kill the enemy all we want but still lose if we give up on our principles. Deficits matter. Deficits to fight war are tolerable. Deficits to buy liberal votes are not. Farm subsidies, drug benefits, and liberalism funded by taxation on our children and grandchildren will not win the war but lose it. Becoming socialists is the same as losing. Millions for defense, but not one dime for tribute. Paying off the liberals is very similar to tribute in my book.

If ever this country needed a man like GWB, it is now. Islamic terrorism can only be defeated through the steely resolve of a TEXAN!

Great point. Bump.

Did it ever occur to you that those things you complain about are transpiring because it is the ONLY way that the President can get cooperation on the war? Vote the democrats out, and then you can complain about the President. Until we have a clear majority, he struggles with enemies abroad, democrats and the media at home, and people on the right who fail to understand why compromise is necessary.
Republicans did not obstruct Roosevelt during World War II, no matter how much they disagreed with him on domestic issues. No one threatened IMPEACHMENT like Bob Graham has.
The failure of some people on the right to temper their criticism with a little perspective has emboldened the democrats to attack in ever more vicious ways, in the hope of dividing us and triumphing over President Bush in the next election.

Judging by the lack of concern of many of my workmates, I'm afraid that too many Americans have already forgotten about 9/11 and its implications. Unfortunately it will take another 9/11 to make these dolts realize that we are in a very serious war for survival.
Coulter was wrong to focus on the Dems of fifty years ago who along with Republicans did try to kill our enemies. It is todays Dems who can properly be called traitors pursuing their selfish goals of power and money. It is doubly hard to fight a war against foreign enemies when your have parasites and backstabbers in your own country.

Until we have a clear majority... White house, Senate, House of Representatives. all are in majority control. Selling out to Democrats is not the ONLY way, it is the way Republicans have chosen. There are plenty of ways. One way is to not abandon your base. If conservative values are legitimate, then implementing them will work. As they say in home economics 101, " The proof is in the pudding!" Buying democrat votes is not the only way to fight this war. As I said it is in fact a way to lose it. Now we have a bunch of Rinos, including Bush, who are not doing anything but being Dumocrats. Are you really a Dumocrat going by the Republican name?

...selfish goals of power and money. Especially when it is in the guise of being re-elected over actually doing what is needed based on principles. Selling out on your principles, in return getting votes to maintain power, while undermining the future of our great nation is evil in itself.

Yeah, sure, I am a democrat. Ha!
It is far more likely that YOU are a democrat advocating suicidal policies for the GOP.
We do not have a veto-proof majority in the Senate. Until we do, some degree of compromise is necessary, which includes trading one bill for another, allowing Rat input on some bills, and acquiescing in some degree of pork.
Intransigence and demands get nowhere when you only have a one vote majority in the Senate. Legislation is a series of compromisees to advance an overall goal. The goal is to lead this country to victory over terrorism. All else is secondary.
To: Miss Marple
Miss Marple, your earlier post on this thread needs to be repeated. And Lysander, you should pay special attention. A lack of perspective can lead to complicity, imo. And to suggest that Miss Marple is a Democrat is ludicrous.
The failure of some people on the right to temper their criticism with a little perspective has emboldened the democrats to attack in ever more vicious ways, in the hope of dividing us and triumphing over President Bush in the next election.

Thank you for posting this excellent column. In case it didn't get a wide reading, I am *PINGING* the GOP list. And Tenn Tuxedo, your comment below is right on!

Good read. Thanks for the read. It reminds me of why I got such a (relatively) good night's sleep on 9/11. It was because I knew Pres. Bush would react in the proper way.
