I can proudly say that I have never seen a Ben Affleck movie, and the only Matt Damon movie I have ever seen was The Talented Mr. Ripley. However, I am NO fan of Damon. The Bourne Identity looked awful, btw.

The Talented Mr. RipleyGwyneth Paltrow. Every time I see her, I want to tell her to eat something. She's too boney.

Matt Damon is a much better actor than Ben Affleck.

The Talented Mr. Ripley...I liked it and thought Matt Damon did a convincing job playing that nice young man who sank so easily into the mire. I also liked him in Up at the Villa, another costume drama, this one set in Italy. (We call it Up Your Villa.) I love costume dramas set in the '20s - '40s, believing that movies are as much about visuals as plot. Matt looks natural in those period films and has the right stuff to play such roles. IMHO. Ever since Good Will Hunting, I've argued that Matt is a better actor than Ben, but friends argued that Ben is more handsome and would become a bigger star. Too bad he's become Mr. BeLow.
