Alcohol is 90% water, it won't burn! Whiskey is 80 proof or so, maybe more in some cases. Percentage is roughly 1/2 of proof. Maximum proof is 200, which is 100% alcohol. So this whiskey is mostly 40% alcohol, which is enough to burn.

Doesn't matter if it burns or not, it's in barrels, which WILL burn. And the Jack D. inside will spill. :-(
