I caught this on WHAS radio on the way home from work. It is bad, but not like the Heaven Hill fire of several years back. That one leaped from warehouse to warehouse as there were 60 mph winds that day. Eventually 6 warehouses burned. The Nelson County Fire Chief (sorry folks Jim Beam is not distilled in Bourbon County) estimated this fire will burn for 3 or 4 days.
That indeed, is the latest from the Ops Center, too.
We're looking at containment - no way we can get it out, just let her burn.
People aren't daring to try and put a dollar value on the lost booze. 80K gallons estimated loss.
