"I didn't say it wouldn't burn, I said it wouldn't hurt." In this case I think it burns and hurts

Uh... The distillery isn't ablaze. That would indeed be a disaster. They lost one ageing building. Now... I'm not saying that this isn't a *really* bad thing, butt... I think the headline is a little over-the-top.

Yes, it does.
I had been planning on changing the tagline, but then the distillery caught.. and out the window plans went.
Thinking on changing it to "Liberals, fodder for the Dogs of War."

Bookers is great but expensive. Knob Creek suits my wallet better, but for regular sipping at a great price I prefer Bulleitt.
If you haven't tried Bulleitt you are missing out on a great bourbon that is cheaper than JD.

Correction - the spelling should have been Bulleit

Well, here we are 24 hours later, and the fire burns still, at the still...
The damage has been downgraded: about 18K gallons of bourbon gone, or about 2% of the company's inventory.
The fire was confined to one building, and a stream was diked off to stop the alcohol from going further downstream. But, it'll take three or four days before the stuff burns out.
There's a fine smellin' fire over Kentucky tonight...

I flew into Cincinnati International Airport one time and when I got off the plane I saw a sign that said: "Welcome to Kentucky"!!!Sort of like flying to L.A. and finding yourself in Onterio.

I don't drink much hard stuff but from time to time I do buy a bottle and Jim Beam is the best. And made in America bourbon is our nation treasure. Ya'll can take that sake, and ouzo, and vodka, and white wine and stick 'em.
No drink like an inch of straight bourbon sipped slowly befor dinner.
