[B]Kobe, the manchild slowly twists in the wind[/B]

Ah, yes. I heard one of his brain-dead defenders on TV today saying that Kobe is "still growing up" and has so much stress, trying to deal with marriage and fatherhood.

What crap! I became a father at age 24, and no way did I consider myself a "kid"--"growing up". I was a responsible adult, working two jobs to take care of my little family, and taking grad courses on the side.

Bryant and his sychophants get more sickening every day.

Blah blah blah. I couldn't care less which way his case goes. Both sides look to have questionable motives. I was pointing out that Kobe Bryant is too young to handle that kind of money. And that he's unlikeable apparently, if his lack of support is any indication.

It's gotten to the point that people should consider boycotts of products endorsed if that is what it'll take to get these stupid wages paid to athletes scaled back to something approaching reasonable. No way does a kid who can jump and shoot like the new kid, what's his name, LeBron, no way does he need or deserve 90 million dollars from Nike. It's insulting to working people. I sound like a democrat on this one but for sure we fans have created a monster.
