Wow! What a coincidence; the same thing happened to me the other day. One minute I'm gearing up to clean the gutters, and suddenly BAM, I'm eight miles out . . .
Not if you know what you're doing in the computer arena and protect yourself accordingly.
For those that don't and leave themselves open to whatever the Internet dishes out....be afraid...be very afraid.
Exactly.
"The dog didn't bark."
I hate it when that happens!
A trojan is a program. In this and similar cases, the trojan sets up a server to serve out the images to the net. Low lifes looking for the stuff pay a site that reports charging for knitting supplies. Then a code is provided that allo0ws them access to the guys computer driven by the trojan, that serves out the images. It's not easy to keep and maintain a clean computer if you don't understand it's workings and have the tools to check it.
The cops should have known what was going on. Instead they jumped the gun. If the guy really was responsible, it would've shown at trial. Music and other things are handled the same way to avoid detection of the real criminals.
