It's not so much the length of the meeting, but in this case any meeting with the President conveys a legitimizing and honoring of Jesse Jackson. Don't think other conservatives, companies, and industries who've been blackmailed and victimized haven't noticed.
Jackson is indeed a con man who should be shunned and disdained, and ignored.
Awfully bad judgement on Dubya's part -- no matter what the issue may have been discussed; even for a brief moment.

I understand, but I just can't leap to presume to know what happened in the meeting.
If it makes you feel any better, my pastor is very black, and very conservative, and he has met with President Bush, too.
