The seeming fact that we are approaching an economic depression due to the competition in the world marketplace gives no one license to disparage successful individualists, even if they do seem a bit boastful.

A few of us are beginning to question his honesty, concerning his business. I don't think a lot of successful businesspeople act like he does.

No business owner, knowing anything about the world order, boasts about a 6 figure income. It's a living - a good living - right up there with a good doctor or a second rate lawyer. In a good year Buffett or Soros have made 10 figures, and in any year going there are a good 6,000 executives in Fortune 500 companies that make 7-8 figures.

I'm not so sure. My radar tells me he's on the up and up. His message may be something many don't want to hear in the coming depression.

The coming economic malaise will, or may be, due to offshoring. I just don't see how the markets, especially the real real estate market can avoid a downturn with so many having their income reduced.

Actually, the guy across the street from me is a lot like him. He's done very well for himself and he projects the demanding attitude towards his acquiantences all the time. I take him down a peg, he acts recalcitrant and then goes back to doing it. They can't help it. They are so used to being catered to and treated like kings from their clients they begin to expect it from everybody.
