You guys heard of Jesse Jackson? Where he is and what he's doing is the result of the power of the martyr. Don't shortchange the social force of a political symbol. In coming months, some deaths of American servicemen and others may well be traced back to the fact these two were buried as martyrs, and that reason only.

If you ask me, they should have been beheaded in keeping with muslim law and their heads placed on tall poles in the center of bagdad. Sometimes a potent visual is just the thing to get the message across to these heathen murdering savages that we are NOT f**king around anymore.
