When OUR press and politicians exaggerate the dwindling enemy's strength and call four months of outstanding work in Iraq a 'failure of the peace', THEY - and not the troops, the military leaders or the President - threaten the peace.
During the week of July 27 - August 2: 7 soldiers died (5 due to hostile action), 14 soldiers were wounded serving their country in Iraq.

The 101st AAD’s 3rd Brigade Combat Team, nicknamed the “Rakassans,” graduated 60 police officers July 26 from their academy in Sinjar. The new police officers will serve as future cadre for the academy. New classes are scheduled to start this week.
