That's a question sort of like,
"Have you stopped beating your wife, yet?" Well...have you?
If my wife were trying to kill me or my kids, then I suppose I would probably be forced to defend myself and them and react physically and only stop when that threat was alleviated. I pray I am never put in such a situation.
In a like manner, if Red China were to threaten us to the point of that type of response, then like Truman, such a decision would have to be considered. I also pray we are never put in that situation.
That does not mean that current Free Trade policies are either good, or that they lead to that particular end-game. In my opinion, the current free trade policy is watering down and making a mockery of the free market...but that's just my opinion.
Capitalism as understood by the little guy running a mom and pop shop is not the same as what is practiced by the big time "Capitalist" who understands only Monopoly--the absolute control of markets which can only be gotten through working with dictators.
The Power Elite in America and in the West have always played the game of neutralization while getting rich at the same time. They want to neutralize America by building up Nazi China--just as they did with Nazi Germany, Soviet Union and so forth.
A great author and researcher, Anthony Sutton, who recently passed away has documented this rather seemingly strange relationship between "Capitalists" and every dictator since the beginning of the last century in his fact filled books:
1. National Suicide: Military Aid to the Soviet Union, in 1973 by Anthony C. Sutton
http://reformed-theology.org/html/books/best_enemy/index.html 2. Wall Street and The Rise of Hitler, by Anthony C. Sutton
http://www.mega.nu:8080/ampp/sutton_wall_street/ 3. Wall Street and The Bolshevik Revolution, by Anthony C. Sutton
http://reformed-theology.org/html/books/bolshevik_revolution/index.html Another great author and researcher has documented how free China was "lost" to the Communists in a very systematic manner:
4. How the Far East Was Lost: American Policy and the Creation of Communist China, 1941-1949, by Anthony Kubek
5. The Red China Papers, by Anthony Kubek
So, what I am trying to say is that "Free Trade" is definitely NOT about "free" trade but is about the control of markets in the guise of "Free Trade", especially the ownership of controlled markets like in Nazi China where one needs only to negotiate with the dictators to win wholesale markets and contracts for cheap labor.
Isn't that what Big Businesses are saying when it comes to Communist China? 1.2 billion market and cheap labor?
Please take the time to read the links above to better understand what has been called the "International Capitalist Communist Conspiracy" or ICCC for short.
As an aside, go rent the Frank Capra's excellent movie on what the Nazi's were planning to do to the world in his movie, "World War II Vol 1: Prelude to War/The Nazi Strike." This Nazi plan to convert the entire world into a giant slave factory system is being perfected by the Communist Chinese today with the capital of the "Capitalists".
Ping for the rest of you that I am PINGing!
