I'd like to see the plan implemented as well, but it's never gonna happen--just look how hard it is to get the government to even admit that they have the responsiblity to keep our borders secure, let alone do anything about it.

Yep, you are right, things have to hit a critical Mass for anybody to do anything.

The fact that internet posts like this hit a nerve indicates a general support for these kinds of measures.

another 911 or a military confrontation with the chicoms combined with some French/UN duplicity may push this kind of plan into action. Though that's not how I want to get there.
