DIXIE COWARDS & SONY TRYING TO SILENCE DISENT!

Earlier today the Country Nation news site posted this news article about the Chicks and Sony
Chicken Little -- Sony Records is allegedly telling some Little Rock Disc-Jockeys to put a sock in it -- or in this case, a shirt.
The trouble started when the Dixie Chicks' label got wind of a Little Rock, Arkansas radio station making light of lead singer Natalie Maines, on some shirts the station handed Wednesday.
The letters "F.U.N.M." printed on the shirts stands for "Friends United for Natalie Maines," Country 102.9 program director Bud Ford, told KARK.com.
Then again, "The first two letters...might not mean "friends united."
The Disc-Jockeys printed up several dozen shirts, poking fun at the Chicks and Maines' infamous anti-George Bush/anti-Toby Keith stance.
When the record label found out, the station reportedly was told it can't broadcast at the Chicks' Alltel Arena show on Friday.

The local press here in nashville has been on full offensive to defend the Vichy Chicks from the getgo.
I want to see how the new record does.

I just went to that web site, you mean people actually care about the stuff called country music today.
Hasn't been a good country song sinc Ghost Riders in the Sky by the Blues Brothers, there hit follow up to rawhide.

Bud Ford with "Country 102.9" was told by the record label they were not allowed at the concert. Apparently, this has been quietly happening to radio stations around the country. "On several shows the Dixie Chicks have made decisions for certain radio stations not to be a part of them. We are just the next radio station in a chain to 'get banned' from the show."

The letters "F.U.N.M." printed on the shirts Yeh, real creative. The fact that they can't even come up with something relatively original makes me dismiss these people as immature idiots.

can someone please sit down and explain to these cowards what FREE SPEECH really is.... funny how they are keeping their effort to BAN radio stations so QUIET!
BYE BYE DIXIE COWARDS!
