It is PC to be anti-Catholic

Not merely PC, but necessary. Like the Jews before the Holocaust, Catholics are incorrectly blamed for all sorts of imagined evils. In the PC world, if one is anti-Catholic, it suggests a correct understanding of things at a higher level.

Notice how the complaint of the Catholic League is treated somewhat differently than that of the ADL:

Ever since Miramax picked up distribution rights on "Magdalene," . . .the Catholic League has been on its case.

. . .the Anti-Defamation League issued a warning that an early version of the (Passion) script contained "numerous anti-Semitic elements."

In the PC world, if one is anti-Catholic, it suggests a correct understanding of things at a higher level.

It used to be that Protestant preachers afforded one such an exaulted level for understanding and enlightenment but I fear they have been eclipsed.
