How is it protectionism to curtail the H1-B visa program, which was predicated on a condition that is no longer true, namely that there is a shortage of qualified IT workers in this country?

For India that is...

Actually, I would agree with you if India and others dropped their protectionism. As it stands now, we are suckers for allowing every country to take advantage of our liberal trade policies while keeping our products out.

I do agree thought that we need to reduce regulation and taxes on business here in the USA.
