Once again, your saying he should answer this important question about tech jobs overseas - the problem is, he was answering another equally important question, the question of the future of manufacturing jobs gone forever.

I have thousands of questions I think Bush should answer, but for me to get mad because he didn't answer a question that WASN'T EVEN ASKED during a press conference is ridiculous.

Perhaps, rather than being completely F***ing stupid and lying about the answer Bush gave, the IEEE should have created a forum by which this very important question WOULD be answered by Bush. Instead, they wasted important time and credibility by creating a response for a question that was never asked, and an answer that was never given...

Why should we let the truth get in the way of a good bash.

Twenty years from now, my job will be gone. It will be overtaken by the technical revolution. And it will be overtaken by younger workers who will do it for less...

Do I sit and cry my beer and wail for the President of the United States to come and deliver me from the reality of the work place.

No, I bust my butt in learning another skill...

So until that time (which I would like to hear of some in the past where he answered questions) he can just go on pretending that the economy's fine. Leadership is when you see a problem and head it off at the pass. Its not hoping that no one asks you a question on if offshoreing will mean that millions of college educated people will jobs tomorrow.
I wouldn't be calling Bush out on the carpet if he even once mentioned this in a talk. Or one of his administration officials either. Its like the big elephant in the room that no one wants to address.
