This is near my house (well 5 miles as the crow flies). I'll post pictures from the locals as soon as I can get them.
Glad the pilots are safe!

Back in 82, the year I graduated. A jet from Cecil Field (which is at the opposite side of Jacksonville NAS) crashed on one of my neighbors house in a little subdivision called Fox Meadow in Middleburg, Fl. I came home from shopping or something and the military was at the entrance to Fox Meadow armed and dangerous. If your Drivers liscense didn't say an address somewhere in the subdivision, you didn't get in. I can remember one of my neighbors was outside trying to take pictures and do you know those pricks threw her to the ground and took her camera away. When the U.S. govt loses something like this, they seem to lose some of their manners. It's not like that aircraft was a secret spy plane or anything, but then again I guess they have to be offical.

I work with these guys.
The S-3 is the same jet the President did his carrier landing in.
Another S-3 went off of the runway today after it lost its brakes. There was also one that went off the boat during the war for the same reason.

That sounds very close to my cousins house too. I should call her and ask if she saw it.
