I've heard that argument many times about Sean Hannity - that he is a "lightweight".

I'm an avid talk-radio listener - I listen up to 8 hours per day, and I enjoy listening to Hannity. I like him better than Prager or Hewitt, and about equally with Medved (though I prefer Hannity). Obviously, most listeners believe that Hannity is a superior talker, just look at his Arbitron ratings. And he certainly has interesting topics and more relevant guests than the aforementioned hosts.

He's a better talk show host then people give him credit for. I believe the reason he's called a "lightweight" and other names is that truly excellent hosts as Limbaugh and Medved have set the bar so high.

Thank you. I've been saying the same thing over and over. So what, he may not be an intellectual the way Rush is, but Sean serves a purpose. He's holding his own against Reich and then some... Sean is one of the most influential conservatives in the country, probably second (among non-politicians) behind Rush. Why bash him, aren't you glad he's on our side? Bashing him serves no purpose... He's not going to become smarter no matter whay.

Hannity has limited points and counterpoints. His scope is
limited to those factors. Anytime the arguements stray from
his points and counterpoints, he is a lost soul.

I agree. If folks want intellectual debate they can get it online. Sean is speaking to a wide audience and the hoi polloi will simply have to bear with him.

Or better yet, switch stations.
