Regardless of how bad a regime North Korea has, its demands of the United States are reasonable. They are four: one-on-one talks, a nonaggression treaty, economic aid and normal diplomatic relations. So it is reasonable to commit nuclear blackmail to get what they want?

So it is reasonable to commit nuclear blackmail to get what they want?In Reese's febrile brain, why yes--and we should give North Korea a ton of money to boot.

I've not found a libertarian or a paleo yet that wasn't eager to have America lick the boot of an aggressive and psychotic foreign potentate, while allowing it to expand and/or make insane threats. I have no idea where it comes from, save for the notion that we'll all be more theoretically noble if we're either poor or in some worldwide conflagration reached because of a slavish devotion to isolationism.
