McPherson has it backward. The burden should be on those who want .50 caliber sniper rifles to explain why, not on government to justify restricting them.Right out of 1984.

I was talking about the Hesse 50 BMG single shot. It isn't really a match grade firearm, but you can have a 50 bmg dressed out with a very good 50 BMG specific scope & a bipod for a little over $2K.
